The building dates back to 1887 and was originally named after Queen Victoria. It was renamed Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in 1996. The station was designed by British architectural engineer, Frederick William Stevens, in an Italian gothic style. It is one of the busiest railway stations in India and serves as a terminal for long-distance and local trains.
2. The Gateway of India
This is one of the most iconic landmarks of Mumbai. Built in the early 20th century, it is one of the most touristy places in Mumbai, witnessing thousands of tourists every day.
